A Custom Shop Colour that is very special and unique. A Dark Brown with specific Gold Flakes. This colour flips from a golden dark tea colour to almost black. Getting the gold flakes to land a sit arbitrarily in the lacquer is the most important aspect of this finish. If sprayed to heavily they will sink to the bottom of the finish and the colour will not look correct. Apply over a black base and clear coat.

This colour started on the America Ultra line and gained popularity quickly. It was matched to a Telecaster.

Special consideration should be given to this colour. Shake your aerosol cans double the recommended time to make sure the gold is mixed. Finishing with this colour in aerosol is very doable as long as you aren't spraying heavily. Mix well, spray dry and do light coats.

If spraying your own, mix well and use a blade to mix the gold flake into the nitrocellulose. Spray when 100% mixed and make sure the flake does not settle in your gun. Light coats means you don't need to load a lot of lacquer into your cups. Gold flake like any other flake settles when it sits. Ours are fresh mixed so this will be minimal. It becomes more extreme with other companies who let their lacquer sit on a shelf for years before you purchase it.

Apply very light dry coats of this colour, 2-4 for full coverage. If it's applied to heavily the gold flake will settle and sink into the lacquer.
